Our Story
The name Salt Paper intentionally implies how uncomplicated working with our studio is.
A salt paper print — one of photography’s most basic techniques — is made from a piece of paper coated in sodium chloride that’s left in the sun under a photographic negative. The sun handles the exposure, water stops the process, and an image is brought to life where once only a memory existed.
Like this historic art form, we are a pure, straightforward, reliable, distinct, and memorable partner.
